In 2020 Sherwood Forest Education Partnership was successful in obtaining lottery funding to make an album! Together in Time is an intergenerational music project inspired by newspaper cuttings, photographs and stories from the 1930’s onwards.

 

We worked with local songwriters and musicians capturing the stories first hand, enabling the memories of Ollerton and the bygone era to live on.

 

The project was cut short because of COVID but recorded locally at Superfly Studios, and finished in the SCNmedia studio in the Midlands

 

Together In Time documents through narrative and songs some extraordinary stories that have been uncovered, to celebrate the past and to raise aspirations for a brighter future. For more information email: info@scnmedia.co.uk
